Rolls & more-

Contrary to what the name might suggest, this eight year old stand serves only rolls. The ‘more’ in the title refers to the kebabs and rolls fillings being served separately on paper plates minus the roomali roti (soft and thin flatbread).
Image

The stand is elaborate for its kind, with a rotisserie, skewer grill and wide frying pan. Owned by a duo- Jatin and prashant, the stall initially started only with a grill, offering a total of six items. Over the years they have expanded their utilities and menu. Today they have a total of 40 items on their menu, most of which can be customized and availed of without the roomali roti. They offer roomali roti as well as whole wheat parathas (lightly fried Indian flatbread) and the dips are prepared fresh each morning. Each morning, fresh produce and meat is procured and lightly pre-prepared.

A unique detail about the duo is that the first roll that is cooked on their stand is left on a piece of newspaper on the sidewalk for the crows to feed on.It is after this daily ritual that they start their daily business:-
Some of the current items featured on their menu are:
Tandoor tikka (chicken/paneer) with a mint and coriander dip
Malai tikka roll (chicken/ paneer) with mint and coriander dip

A bright multi colored breach umbrella sticks out like a sore thumb on the turning corner of keshav rao khadye marg. Whether it was bought on purpose to attract attention or simply recycled from a friend is debatable, but the items served under the umbrella are excellent coolers in the summer heat.

Owned by two brothers, Sushil and Nitin, the New Juice center, which has been around for seven years serves a total of 50 items.
One brother arrives early in the morning and purchases their cache of fruits; ice blocks and filtered water from a whole seller. They primarily serve freshly sqeezed juices and coolers. The stall also serves fruit salads as well as customized fruit platters on request, sprinkled with chaat masala if desired.

Their main attraction on the menu is their coolers, combinations they borrowed from established contemporary juice bars. Their coolers include Berry coolers, pineapple and guava, blackcurrant, apple and lychee, watermelon and khus.
